How we are changing the maternity bra industry
At Davin & Adley, our CEO and Designer, Amanda Hunt, used her personal experience as a new mom herself to shake things up for the maternity bra industry. After returning to work from maternity leave, it was clear to Amanda that pumping bras were never designed by someone who was actively using them. Changing in and out of your nursing bra 3X a day and into a separate pumping bra was just too fussy and the fit on strapless pumping bras was extremely poor. Nursing bra hacks never worked properly and cutting holes in sports bras was a temporary fix that also ended with frustration. Amanda's career was in bra design for large corporations and knew a lot about bra engineering. Weeks later, she got to work thinking of how to improve the functionality of pumping bras and change the experience for new moms needing to nurse and pump, while working full time outside of the home.
This was the start of Amanda's passion project, to design multi-functional nursing and pumping bras for all day wear. After years of sampling prototypes on herself and breastfeeding in her own designs, the Davin & Adley collection was officially launched in 2020.

Amanda's 15-year-plus career as a Technical Designer and Product Development Specialist of Intimate Apparel prepared her to design this collection of supportive maternity bras for a large range of sizes. All of our bra designs have been developed in in sizes Small to 4X and additionally in busty sizes for large cups. All moms deserve to have functional and well fitted nursing and pumping bras, so Amanda makes sure to carry over 15 sizes for Davin & Adley Bras, with the list always expanding as we grow as a brand.
